Dayton Ohio’s next breakout band

Introduction

Fun While It Lasted are a Pop Punk act out of Dayton Ohio. Originally formed in Lexington South Carolina by childhood friends Austin Whitney and Connor Temple, the band soon would move to Ohio leaving Austin Whitney the only remaining member. Later on in 2023, bassist Sebastian Humphreys joined after meeting through work at Frischs Big Boy.

Extended Bio

In the summer of 2024 the band began promoting on social media. In that time frame they have managed to accumulate millions of views across all social media platforms, specifically instagram and tik tok. During this time the band has also accumulated over 20,000 followers across all platforms and most importantly, over 160,000 streams in the last year on Spotify alone.

Since then the band has went on to play multiple successful shows and build a small, yet fiercely loyal fan base through playing shows and social media promotion, and is dedicated to bringing show promoters new customers and a guaranteed turnout.

Austin

Austin was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2004, and his journey has taken him through Mason, Toledo, Rahway (New Jersey), Little Rock (Arkansas), Lexington (South Carolina), and back to Dayton, Ohio — where he crossed paths with Sebastian. Austin is passionate about sports, writing music, gaming, and spending time with friends. His energy and creativity fuel much of the band's songwriting and vision.

Sebastian

Sebastian was born in Columbia, Tennessee in 2006. His childhood took him across the country — from Aurora, Colorado in 2010, to South Carolina in 2015, and finally to Ohio in 2019, where he met Austin. A natural creative, Sebastian loves playing bass, fishing, exploring Minecraft, and finding new ways to have fun. At home, he shares life with his wife, a cat, and a lively crew of turtles.
